Principles and Practice of Questionnaire Design – 1 ½ Day Workshop

Thursday 11th December, 9.15 a.m.– 1.00 p.m. Education Centre, Birmingham Children’s Hospital

 

Purpose

The workshop is aimed at library staff bands 5 and 6, in particular Outreach and Training Librarians.

The purpose of the workshop is to provide skills for carrying out effective questionnaires for the purpose of service evaluation and identifying information needs.

  

Outcomes

  • Provide an overview of evaluation
  • To be able to prepare effective questionnaires
  • Identification of strategies to improve response rates
  • To be able to analyse questionnaires both quantitative and qualitative information.

This workshop follows the successful Principles and Practice of Evaluation workshop delivered April and September 2007.  This workshop just concentrates on the questionnaire design element of the previous workshop.
